Pipeline backers unhappy with panel recommendations

Despite the fact that a recent report released backs the building of the Mackenzie pipeline in the Arctic, backers of the project aren’t very happy. In fact, they plan on fighting the recommendations listed in the report, recommendations that are needed in order for the project to go ahead. The two recommendations that are stirring up the most controversy are tying in any future expansion of the pipeline to first nation negotiations and directing the Arctic natural gas away from the oil sands. more »
