Caltin Arctic Survey team complete research

When the Catlin Arctic Survey team headed out to study the condition of ice in the Arctic, they were expecting to find some of the thicker, older ice that was once predominant in the region. Instead they discovered only thinner “young” ice that has only been around for a year and will most likely melt over the course of the summer.
This discovery further backs up environmentalists’ and scientists’ opinion that climate change is having, and will continue to have, a huge impact on the Arctic. more »
