An official from the Alaska Division of Oil and Gas said that the decision by Italy’s oil company, Eni, to delay work on the Nikaitchug oil development is likely because of the recent slump in crude oil prices plus the current global economic conditions.  The Italian company was supposed to spend $1.5 billion on the crude oil project. more »
