When scientist flew a corporate jet that had been modified from the North pole to the South pole in order to study how greenhouse gases travel, they discovered that carbon dioxide has been piling up over the Arctic region.
The research that was conducted on the flight will aide scientist in understanding how carbon is stored in different area of the world and how much of the main greenhouse gas, carbon dioxide, is released by cars and also by some factories that use fossil fuels or burn forest areas as part of their business. more »
